Is this the bug where the first email notification suddenly vanishes when the phone is unlocked? That’s still happening.

Not sure about any other notification bugs.

Phone is insanely hot when playing games and playing YouTube videos through app. Battery drain is fast as well.

And to a few comments above: mindlessly claim home button is outdated because Ex is out.

Hmm...on further examination I think you might be right. It’s hard to tell though - might just be placebo. I’ll keep an eye on it over the next few days.

Does anybody else feel like True Tone has been adjusted on the iPhone X? It just feels like it’s closer to the look of the iPhone 8... maybe it’s just me.

Not really noticing any difference on mine, which is a shame.

I understand the two are different display technologies but it’s a very noticeable difference. I’ve only been using Night Shift at sunset and keeping True Tone off on the X altogether.

An old bug is back in beta 3. This was fixed in the first 2 betas. The Music widget doesn’t show the Bluetooth or Airplay device that you’re connected to. It always shows “iPhone” or “iPad”.

Scratch my earlier post. Battery life hasn’t improved at all. It took a long time to come from 100-80% but it’s dropping percentages faster below 80. The battery life is unbearable for me

What happened to giving it a few days and a few charging cycles after an update to actually get a somewhat meaningful idea of battery life?

I am on this beta 3 11.2 since today morning, seems more stable in battery drainage compare to beta 2.

My iPhone 8 did the same thing and updating the carrier settings fixed the problem.
Hope it works for you too!!

Phone App and VV were a disaster for me. Freezes, no VV, slow response to change screeens. Had to go back to 11.1.1 it was so bad.

Battery seems to drop faster. Haven’t gone through an entire cycle but percentage is dropping rapidly. I don’t think a delta update should affect indexing and all so much.

Seems like they fixed the Bluetooth message when you open App store and Bluetooth is disabled. App store opens for me with no message now.

I’ve been really bummed with True Tone on the X. I love it on my iPad Pro but it looks WAY to yellow in most cases on my X. I’ve done the opposite and stopped using Night Shift altogether. I prefer the more gradual True Tone throughout the day but I definitely liked the softer True Tone on iPhone 8 Plus. Whenever I get my hands on an 8 I will test them side by side to see if 11.2 has tweaked it on the X.

May be a coincidence, but I noticed better Face ID unlocking angles today. Stuff that didn’t used to work at all now works a lot more often.

7.5w wireless charging has been confirmed to be working.

Just noticed that the history of app updates in the App Store “updates” section is back to being totally wrong. An app that just updated shows “yesterday” and apps that updated last week show “today.”

It’s likely learnt more of your face if you’ve used your passcode immediately after failed attempts.

It’s possible 7.5w was enabled in beta 3.
