New Features & Changes
- New "Welcome to App Store" splash with privacy icon
- New "Welcome to the iTunes Store" splash with privacy icon
- In App Store "Updates" tab, apps will include version number and installation size moved to "More" detail (on iPad, version number and installation size is no longer included)
- Battery Heath (Beta) option available in Battery settings with Maximum Capacity and Peak Performance Capability (defaulted to disable throttling but will reenable if device experience an unexpected shutdown with ability to "disable" throttling) on iPhone 6 and later
- If your device has iCloud enabled, an alert will caution you before deleting a message
- Safari supports Smart Invert properly
- Podcasts now have the ability to automatically play after selecting an episode (single tap to play)
- New animations for voice dictation
- iPhone X with iTunes require iTunes 12.7.3. Certain features, including Face ID, may not work as expected when using an older version of iTunes
- iOS 11.3 beta 2 doesn’t support iPod touch (6th generation). Support will be added in a future beta release
- Keychain - The shared web credentials API always returns the error “Autofill disabled”
- Using Music with VoiceOver or Switch Control may not work as expected in beta 2
- iOS screenshots using the Screenshotr app may result in the error “Could not communicate with the target”
- Icon of the "Low Power Mode turned off / Battery Sufficiently Charged" notification is now Settings icon. It should be battery icon like it used to be.
- Jerky animation when swiping in Mail to mark as read or delete an email (iPhone X)
- 3D touch actions may not produce haptic feedback (on and off)
- Not able to make In-App Purchases (may not apply to all. But happens to me and one other person)
- In beta 1, Health Record accounts and data are not synced to Health in iCloud. This results in data from the device not syncing to other devices.
- New Health Records data (CDA XML files) cannot be saved on the device.
- Some Messages threads may take longer to load than expected
- Siri control of AirPlay 2 isn’t enabled in iOS 11.3 beta 2 and earlier
- Widgets jump up then goes back to normal position after device restart (Since iOS 11.0)
- Widgets and search bar overlap during call (Since iOS 11.0)
- Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
- When unlocking the device causes keyboard to disappear for a moment if keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
- Keyboard keys become blue when text is pasted in the text field of WhatsApp, especially for URLs (Since iOS 11.0)
- Attention awareness for calls still not working on the X
- Smart Punctuation unavailable in Messages
- Books crashes constantly and has RAM management problems
- Skype no longer crashes on launch or after sign-in
- Maps no longer crashes when tapping the "Destinations" UI while connected to CarPlay
- WebApps saved to the home screen and webpages in Safari can now use the camera to capture images
- Background tasks now correctly authenticate in an app that uses Kerberos for single sign on
- Fixes Wi-Fi connectivity issues on older devices
- Fixes Remote app and Control Center ATV remote with Apple TV connectivity issues
- Fixes sites visited using Safari's Private mode can be found in Settings --> Safari (Since iOS 11.0)
