iOS 11.4 Beta 2 (Dev + Public)

New Features & Changes
  • Added (PRODUCT) RED™ wallpapers to iPhone 8 & 8+ (#35)
  • Added Lock/Unlock option under Display & Brightness setting for flip cover magnetic case for iPhone X similar to iPad (#86)
  • Removed non-functional HomePod Stereo pairing
  • Removed True Dark mode in iBooks
New Issues
  • When asking Siri to play a specific song, it always results in the first song (alphabetically) in Music library being played and not the song requested.
  • Spotlight search keyboard delay
Remaining Issues
  • 3D Touch delay - need to wait about 3 seconds after unlocking (Since iOS 11.3)
  • App icons on the Home screen will sometimes move into the top left corner and overlap other icons right after updating. Can fix by swiping to another home page.
Resolved Issues
  • Music - In certain circumstances playback might get stuck at the end of the first track
  • Podcasts 3D bug fixed
  • Volume bug, while on control center fixed (Partially)
  • Keychain - The shared web credentials API always returns the error “Autofill disabled”
  • AirPlay
    • When streaming a video from the YouTube app via Airplay, audio might lag behind the video by 2-3 seconds
    • When streaming a video from the YouTube app to a single Apple TV, only the audio might play out of the Apple TV

I kept getting an error trying to upload the release notes but it is the same as beta 1

Edit: It is different... wrong release note I downloaded

You're right! I was too quick and didn't realize I actually downloaded beta 1 release notes:eek:

I agree. Its makes it hard to know the deal with the particular beta being discussed. May has well just have one big ole "iOS 11.4 Beta" thread and use that for all betas verses separate ones with the exact same info copied over. IMHO

Can someone test the described issues of iOS 11.3 and report back if they are still there in iOS 11.4 beta 2? I will update this post when someone test and report back them.
  • NOT TESTED - Widgets and search bar overlap during a call (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - Emoji keyboard has duplicate emojis in the Frequently Used tab after resetting the keyboard settings (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - Unlocking a device causes the keyboard to disappear for a moment if the keyboard is left open before locking the device (Since iOS 11.0)
  • STILL THERE - 3D Touch Quick Actions cannot be initiated immediately after unlocking the device, takes 2 seconds waiting (Since iOS 11.3 beta 3)
  • NOT TESTED - Tapping on a notification immediately after opening Notification Center does not dismiss Notification Center (Since iOS 11.0)
  • NOT TESTED - App launch splash screen becomes black if open an app immediately after you close an app, test with 3D Touch multitasking to close app (Since iOS 11.2.5)

Yes, copypasted then filtered and remove all old changes and added new changes from release note and users can add whatever applies to this beta after. It is just good for me to see what changes when I compare it with release note. It is cleaned up now.
