Anyone having problems with battery life and using a Apple smart battery case?

At a certain percentage (Normally around 70% battery) the phone decides to start using the internal battery rather than the case's power.

Haven't tested to see whether the phone will automatically switch off when it runs out of battery or whether the case will kick in but just seemed a little odd.

Have tested it with a iOS 10 phone to make sure the case wasn't dying on me and it works fine there.

Same here. It’s all over the place. Phone battery starts to deplete sometimes when the case is at 100%. I just disconnect the phone and reconnect it which seems to be a temp fix.

Same issue here, and I've noticed it begins around 50% for me on my case but both the case & phone battery seem to die down at the same time after. It could be an error even where it's not reading the battery properly...

Having the same issue.

iPhone 7 256GB and Apple Smart Battery Case.

Phone depletes instead of the case, case and phone get very hot and battery life is all over the place.

It’s definitely not the case dying but most likely a software glitch in the beta code.

Mine was working perfectly on iOS 10.3.3 beta.

All part of the fun of trying new software out!

Same for me with my iPhone 6S and battery case.

Battery life is terrible to begin with (case is usually drained by 1-2PM, normally by 6PM) and beyond that the phone seems to randomly decide to use its own battery rather than the case.

Seems like the case depletes 5% for every % the phone depletes, for me.

Right now I’m at 97% phone, 84% case lol. So random. If you want the phone to charge to 100%, undock it from the case and then redock it

I take it that Apple's Smart Battery Case continues to work with with Beta 5? Thinking about making the leap but wanna ensure the case's function first.

I'm having this problem with GM iOS 11, never used the beta. When I grabbed my iPhone this morning after a full night of it supposedly charging, case was only at about 7%!
