Does Apple's Camera app in iOS 11 save in RAW (DNG), or do we still need to use third party apps to do so?

Nope, you still have to use a 3rd party app which at this point is just ridiculous.
For a company that prides itself and makes such a big deal about photos, you would think this would have been added by now. lol
