Anyone else having issues with iOS 11 on iPhone 7+ where the phone gets extremely hot to the touch?

When I use the App Store or when doing iCloud backup, my phone gets very hot.

Not so hot to cause the overheat error, but hot nonetheless.

I saw another thread about FaceTime use causing the same - but I’ve not used FaceTime yet to confirm.

I’ve had all iOS 11 betas and this is the first I’ve seen the issue.

Wait a few days. Your phone is working hard behind the scenes doing routine housekeeping after the iOS update. It should be fine soon.

MS exchange or office365 email accounts some times cause problems.

Or even Google calendar or other DAV calendar sync.

Try reinstall as new and add accounts one by one to check.
