iOS 11 message addressing

I have an small but annoying problem (TWSS) with addressing new messages since I upgraded to 11. When I type out the name of the person I want to send the message to, the phone doesn't list the person's name only in the list it shows you below the to: field, it only shows me the group messages that person has been in. Anyone else notice this and know if I can fix it?

I am getting the same thing happening. Instead of one person I am trying to text, I get multiple people. Annoying.

If you start typing a name, then scroll the list down a little was the individual name hiding under the title bar?

I think I found one waaaaay down in a list of a ton of groups. Like every group text I ever sent. Sooooo annoying.

I actually meant in the other direction, moving the content downward. There was a bug during the beta where the top result was hidden under the address bar itself. It’s seemed to go away and was reported as such by many in beta 8 or 9 but I was curious if you were experiencing it in the gm

Gotcha. Tried it now with two difference contacts. They weren’t there.

Ugh, Same and it's driving me CRAZY. Solution PLEASE Apple.

While I get all the various groups as suggestions, the first suggestion is the entry for the individual person from my contacts.

Mine are in seemingly random order - the individual is often very far down the list.

My girlfriend has the same problem, she’s on a 6. My 7 appears to be fine though.
