Well updated to IOS 11 and the music functions don’t work on the lockscreen or the control center when swiping up. The play, pause, and skip do not work. Anyone else experience this??

I'm having a similar issue. My configuration is iPhone 7+, Apple Watch series 2, and AirPods. Works fine after I restart the phone; however, if I change the album I am listening to when I first start the phone, the controls on the screen are blank and the watch cannot control the music playback on the iPhone (when it's working properly, the watch face automatically changes to play/pause level controls for the music on the phone).

The controls also don’t work for me from this screen either

From the control panel I’ve found that you have to long press in order to control music. Absoloutely hate it tbh. I was happy to have music back on the first screen but this sucks, it’s tiny, in the wrong place and like I said I have to long press.

If I’m listening to radio (beats 1 or w/e) and a song came on I liked but didn’t know I used to be able to quickly swipe up and tap to go to whatever music app and add the song but now it takes longer and I could miss it by seconds.

Also hate it on the lock screen.. I liked the artwork being the main thing.
