Hi, those who have installed iOS 11 on iPad mini 4? I would like to know how is the performance. Is slow? Differences with iOS 10? Thanks

Been testing IOS 11 like crazy on multiple devices. The one I have completely skipped.. iPad Mini 4. I still need that to be on IOS 10 for applications that are not being updated to 64bit. Hopefully someone can chime in with their experience as I'm curious as well how good/bad it runs.

I have not had any real issues with it. Some animations are a bit slow, but overall no issues. I am not doing anything too intense on it though. Just some video streaming, email, and web browsing. It has actually handled multitasking better than I anticipated it to.

MUCH better than the first public beta on my mini 4. Still buggy, of course, but it seems way more stable. One thing I can’t get to work is “gestures”. It’s on, but swiping up with 4 fingers doesn’t work. It was in one of my reports to apple.

There are missing features than the iPad Pro?

I think it's normal, it's a beta.

Very responsive on my mini 4 in general and even more so given it is a beta. Still some niggles and issues but performance wise it is quite impressive and I expect it to only improve for final release.

Now that iOS 11 has arrived at beta 9, how's about iPad mini 4?

iOS 11 works perfectly fine on the Mini 4. It was really slow in the early betas, but on the latest it feels just as good as iOS 10. The highlight features like the new dock, multitasking, drag and drop all work like advertised.

The last two betas have been noticeably smoother and quicker for me - I don’t anticipate any problems with the Mini 4 running iOS 11, after some initial concerns

Had it on my Mini 4 since PB1. Much slicker now than it was in the early days (obviously) but still feels very glitchy compared to my 7 Plus (which is now also on iOS 11).

As someone else has said, it’s animations and other resource heavy stuff that bogs it down.
