Hello All,
I would like to know which version of the IOS is best and stable after jailbreak.

Also i read that the IOS 11.x is un-jailbreakable.

So I would need your advice on the version that i can choose to jailbreak.

Thx!

no iOS version, because jailbreaking is dead.
What a hostile and uninformed response.

Plenty of jailbreaks available if you're on the right version: https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/wiki/escapeplan/guides/jailbreakcharts

PS. My 200+ tweaks says jailbreaking is not dead. And so does the community on Reddit Jailbreak

You may not like jailbreaking and OP may have posted in the wrong forum but just because you have a bad opinion about it or make assumptions it doesn't mean it's true.

As has been stated, there is no iOS 11 jailbreak.

Please keep in mind that just because YOU decided you wanted to jailbreak, it doesn't mean you CAN.

You have to be on a jailbreakable firmware and your device has to be capable of running that firmware.

The 8 and 8+ cannot run iOS 10. And the 7/7+ only have one specific jailbreak, 10.1.1.

To downgrade to a jailbreakable iOS, you need to be jailbroken first. If there is no jailbreak there is no downgrade. Secondly, you need to have a device with SHSH blobs that can be downgraded and if you have all that then you can downgrade. If you don't then no downgrade.

It's not as easy as everyone seems to think it is.

can you point out an easy, one click, untethered jailbreak for iOS 10+ similar to how it used to be in iOS 7/8 with Pangu and TaiG?

Any response I give you is going to be a fail in your eyes because you already know the answer.

But if we are going to define the life or death of a jailbreak based on this criteria then you're right.

But if we define it by how many people are still doing it, you're wrong and jailbreaking is still very much alive.

In either case it seems like you've already decided.

okay, fine, "jailbreaking is dead" was an exaggeration.

I used to jailbreak iOS 7-8 and back then you didn't have to wait a few months to be able to jailbreak the latest iOS version, and you could be on a recent, secure version of iOS while still being able to customize it.

now it's become much harder and IIRC it took a few months after iOS 10 was released for it to be actually jailbroken. so Apple has definitely made it harder for jailbreaks to happen. I'd still jailbreak iOS 11.x if I could but I don't see it happening soon considering the scarcity of jailbreaks for the iPhone 7 series on iOS 10 already.

Huh since when it’s hard?
Now that's much better :)
Anyway, jailbreaking became much harder these days, but I am confident that we will get a new jailbreak for IOS11.x .....sooner or later...

Since our beloved Apple increased the level of security, since they started paying for discovered exploits, since.....you name it :)

For the naysayers who say jailbreaking is dead, I'd jailbreak my 8 Plus this freaking instant if a jailbreak were to become available to me.

Problem is that there is no JB and probably will take a long time...so realistically for now it is near death, anything else is wishful thinking.

In https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/new-10-3-3-exploit-discovered.2078079/#post-25243036 a new series of exploits is discussed for iOS up to 10.3.3.
If you try to read it, it will show you how hard it is to get to break through enough security layers to get it to work.

As always a JB needs on average about 4-5 different exploits to work together.

The exploits being available does not even mean it will lead to a stable or untethered JB, but at least it gives a different approach than what we have until now and maybe some of it is useful for iOS11.

I really just meant dead from a desirability standpoint. Plenty of people still wish they could jailbreak.

i dont have my doubts for a iOS11 jailbreak in a few months. I DO have my doubts we will see a iPhone 7/8/X Jailbreak any time soon due to the extra hardware preventing it.

It really needs to happen soon. I check Smart Invert after every beta upgrade and it just destroys me inside every time I see that it's nothing like having Eclipse on a jailbroken phone.

My iPhone X came with 11.0.1 but the battery drain is ridiculous. As I understand it 11.1 mitigates that problem. Should I update or put up with a fast draining battery on my X. Worried that exploits were patched in 11.1 that are present in 11.0.1 that could be used for jailbreak
