New Features & Changes

  • 70 New Emoji
  • iPhone Emoji now iPhone X Style
  • New sound when pressing the camera and flashlight icon on the Lock screen
  • Speaker phone while on phone call now can be enabled with 1 touch like on iOS 11 and before (while Apple Watch is connected)
New Issues
Remaining Issues

  • Folder in dock UI glitch when swiping to widgets screen and back to home screen
  • Since iOS 11.4 still can’t initiate album playback via Siri on the watch with music that is locally stored on phone.
Resolved Issues
  • Annoying iPad Keyboard layout (lower left) changed back to the same as iOS 11.
  • Fixed an issue where some iPhones and iPads would not charge as expected.
Additional Notes
  • Certain apps may not be fully compatible with iOS 12. Contact developer for support. See list of current compatible apps.
  • If you experience Setting crashes, it may be due to removal of stock apps.
  • Battery apps may no longer work as intended due to removal of Battery API in iOS 12.

I always get this annoying problem. I’m clearly connected to WiFi but the software update doesn’t recognize that. It’ll give me that message for 5-10 minutes. Incredibly annoying.

Washed out homescreen? Are you suggesting that Apple reverted to how wallpapers were before iOS 12, or that 12.1 b1 is how wallpapers are now, brightened and with contrast blown out? (I had skipped the first beta as everyone reported poor battery life.)

I think in beta 2 or 3 of ios 12, they added that washed out effect.
