iPhone iOS 12.1 won’t connect to WiFi

Since updating my iPhone XS Max to iOS 12.1 I can’t connect to WiFi. This is even worse than the WiFi issue that was then fixed in 12.0.1 seriously Apple what’s going on? And to see they’ve pulled WatchOS 5.1 because it’s bricking some devices. How do these huge issues slip through?
