I wanted to set to NONE, and update y info 1-2 weeks and now they removed the option or it's a bug and its missing for what ever reason!

it also wont let me add a new card also, befor ei would set to none, save the option exit settings and go back in and it would let me add a new card..... now even erasing the current info and putting a new CC, and clicking done and it wont let me save the CC/Debit card to Icloud.... that portion is broken, so if u have expired or u want to add another CC you cant even to that anymore!!
[doublepost=1550762772][/doublepost]
If the old debit card has been deactivated then the charge wouldn't go through.

I understand, anyway se my previous report!!! just letting people know.

can everyone see and check on their phone and get back to us, is the NONE option gone for you also?
[doublepost=1550763007][/doublepost]see attached photo, and compare to my previos post? the NONE OPTION IS Missing, thats all..... just reporting back thats all

Have you tried doing the removal and new card in Wallet? I had to do a new card and did the removal and new card all in the Wallet app.

Unfortunately, network connectivity is still pretty bad. Is it really that difficult, or did they just give up and decide to ride it out until the XI drops?

I always keep a look out to hear if it's improved at all. I was super vocal about it in the old poor LTE reception thread when the XS phones launched. Really upsetting that it hasn't improved at all.

My experience is different. Before this beta, my Verizon XS Max was getting good LTE & wifi connectivity and speeds most of the time (though sometimes a bit slower than my iPhone X did in the same areas). But after installing 12.2 beta 3, LTE and wifi are screaming fast, and I'm getting a stronger and more reliable LTE/cellular signal in areas that I know have spotty coverage.

I know you and many others are still having horrible LTE or wifi performance and I'm mad at Apple for not fixing this. My first Max unit (a week or two after launch) had horrible LTE and wifi connectivity and slow download/upload speeds. I tried everything I could and nothing helped, including a couple of 12.0.x point updates that Apple issued during the time I had that unit. I returned it and get a replacement unit which has been fine. Many people who got replacement units reported on other threads that they are having a better experience, but many others are having the same problems with their replacement units.

This is a real big f***ing problem, and Apple should acknowledge it openly and bend over backwards to make it right for folks like you that are still having crappy LTE or wifi connectivity.

But for some folks, a few of the various iOS updates since last fall have helped. I'm sorry that this update isn't helping your issues, and I hope the next one does.

Appreciate your feedback too. From my experience it really seems like Apple are moving on and maybe can't resolve the issue. Again it's strange how some are impacted and others not. All 3 of the senior advisers I have worked with on my multiple tickets have essentially stopped replying. The last time I sent probably another 3 rounds of logs. After the requisite "we shared them with engineering and will let you know!" feedback, the last I heard from them they again blamed AT&T and told me to take it up with them. When I replied saying other advisers already spoke with AT&T with myself in conference confirming no issues with my account, they just stopped replying. I've basically given up at this point because they refused to replace my phone and continue to say it's my carrier and my own issue.

Do you have a local Apple Store? I was able to get mine swapped out no problem by setting an appointment under the "connectivity issues" category.

Battery life is good today with the new beta. Cellular network still sucks. Mostly at 2, sometimes 3.

My X only showed the date the first time. Subsequent waking up of the iPhone shows the Charge % for a second, then the date.
Thinking that first condition is likely a bug...I'll send off a report.
My XS does not, it only shows the date from wake-up. However, I think this would be a very cool feature to show the battery % for a second or two and then switch to date!

Battery for me is great i would say, much better than 12.1.4...took off the charger at 5am and sittin @87%...

Date and time did come back from when updating from Beta2 to 3

Anyone else still having Settings.app freezes when opening it? iPhone X. Seems like this has been happening since 12.1.3. All of Apples preinstalled apps are on my phone (which was previously meant to cause this issue).

Yep I live/work in NYC and have one right by the office.

To give some bg I got my XS Max on launch day. No change in carrier (AT&T) or plan. New SIM etc. I made a genius appointment the following week given the bad cellular issues. They told me to wait for an update. I was contacted by Apple after they saw me make a post about it on their support forum. I sent them logs, spent a ton of time working with them, ultimately they told me to swap my phone. I went to the Apple store and the genius was a colossal jerk. Blamed me and AT&T, refused to swap my phone DESPITE me having my case# and all the notes from the adviser saying they should replace my unit. I had to escalate to someone at the store and they BEGRUDGINGLY replaced my phone. I stayed in store until it was activated, and then I demonstrated again IN STORE that the new phone was having connectivity issues as well. They blamed AT&T and rushed me out. That same night I was contacted yet again by a 2nd senior adviser who made me run through the whole process of sending more logs and data. After not hearing for a month, yet ANOTHER now 3rd adviser contacted me asking for more logs. After another month I followed up and was told it was AT&T and not my phone. And how they would not support a replacement as they blamed it on the carrier. They have not responded at all since then.

I know AT&T is not the best carrier, I've heard all the snark and jokes about it. However I have had AT&T in NYC for the last 10yrs. Even just taking the last 2yrs with my 7+, I never had issues like I am having. Horrible LTE performance, unable to load webpages/emails, issues sending iMessage. The BIGGEST issue I have is my phone is my primary GPS for when I drive. We are talking short trips to NJ or out to Long Island where I can't use GPS given I receive "no internet connection" errors. Might sound silly but it's not fun when I arrive at my destination (i.e. apple picking orchard in the fall) and when it's time to come home I am unable to navigate. And then I am scrambling trying to reset my phone, toggle airplane mode on/off, when I am in some place in Hudson Valley I am not familiar with.

At this point Apple is just ignoring those of us with issues. Having used iPhones since the original, I am so disappointed in how they are treating those of us with problems.

is this worth installing on daily driver iphone xs?
In my opinion, yes.

I installed it on my daily driver, XS Max (Verizon). No problems, and better performance than 12.1.4.

There are always risks with betas. If you read through this thread, you’ll see a few people reporting issues. But many more people are reporting excellent performance. Plus, some of the issues turn out to be not caused by iOS. And lastly, there are always people reporting issues with official releases.

Scanning through this thread, I’ve seen lots of reports of better LTE signal and faster LTE upload/download, better battery life, and smoother performance relative to beta 2 or 12.1.4 official.
