iOS 12.2 broke my auto-lock

So I updated to iOS 12.2 last night and ever since, my phone will not lock in it self after leaving it inactive.

For example, throughout the night I received notifications and I woke up to the display being on. It was on the entire night.

I have already attempted a hard and soft reset. Is a restore going to be necessary?

This is on a XS Max.
