I thought I found gold in v12.2 and thinking this is it, but the call of v12.3beta1 is so strong. Dive into it.
Downloaded this morning and now enjoying the smoothness operation it gave to my oldie Ip7plus.
Impressive works Team Apple!

It was interesting to see the 12.2 betas were better than the public release. I never noticed any battery life issues on any of the betas. And then... boom! Public release has all sorts of issues.

Hi,

Can you confirm that your 3dtouch is working on 12.3 ?

Thanks in advance
Tom
Yep, it’s been working fine. Sometimes I don’t get Taptic feedback but that’s mainly when I’ve been using my phone for a fairly long time and it’s been heating up a bit. But other than that no issues here.

After a couple of days and purchases. Map location of purchases is still not showing up in wallet. Anyone else experiencing this?

WiFi for me

Not sure if this happens on iOS 12.2 but with iOS 12.3 beta 1 when ever I buy something on the web using Apple Pay, I get an invalid shipping address in Apple Pay. (Its the correct address) So far this happens when I buy something outside of my country. (I’m in Canada)

Anyone else notice this?

Oh, noooo. Ugh. An old beta bug just reared it’s ugly head on 12.3 b1.

Wifi with Captive login. When I get to work in the mornings, I always have to login the the network here. It uses captive to login, and it kicks you out after a period of inactivity, roughly 30 minutes to an hour. Anyway, it’s never connected next day when I get in.

However, with this bug, it says I’m logged in, but I’m really not. No data. So I have to forget the network, toggle airplane, then connect and login.

They fixed this bug during the 12.2’s. But it looks like it’s back.

Reported with logs

Xs Max, 12.3 PB1, turn down system volume using phone rocker switches. Open iOS Facebook app. The sounds for moving between tabs is still on, the sounds for 'liking' a post are still on.
So much for having no volume and being in silent mode

I’m laughing at all these issues I’ve yet to encounter. And yet happy I stayed away from the forums for a few days after I installed this. The ONLY issue I’ve had with this beta:

1. Cellular signal randomly disappears. Been happening since 12.1. It’s back with this beta.

2. Random stuttering.

Otherwise performance has been good. Battery life is good. Not great. And no crashing.

Yeah, it must be great fun for you to see the problems other people are having with their phones.
