Not sure if mentioned, but now in QuickReply if you want to “Like,” “Heart,” etc. a message you can double tap/long press the message bubble and it’ll bring up the appropriate menu rather than pulling you into the Message app.

could someone else please confirm that the sound for message notifications is routing through the ear speaker as opposed to the bottom/system speaker? Mine are on my 8+

On my 7 it comes from both speakers. And when using speakerphone. Used to be only bottom speaker when on speakerphone.

Any one else notice if the animate feature of Live Photo for lock screen does not work when pressed? Just checking. Mine doesn’t work but I’m getting mixed answers about it thank you.
Anyone with issue with do not disturb? I tried on it and the background did not turn black... when I off do not disturb, there’s no weather widget too? Any advise on this?
Siri suggestion on lock screen suggests to “Call back number, missed call at time”.

Same for me. I get the black background at bed time but in the am when it’s supposed to say good morning and have weather widget it just pulls up my notifications. It’s wierd because it works for YouTubers showing off the software features but it’s not working for me. When you think glitch you think something impacting everyone not just a few people.

I get that with missed facetime calls. However, before that arrives I have the actual missed facetime call notification and nothing else. So I click that and return the call. Then after that call, Siri finally gets its act together and decides to tell me of my missed call. Irritating. I've turned off siri on the lockscreen for now.
Can anyone confirm connection sharing is gone ?
I’m actually quite happy with this beta but connection sharing is something i really need.
If I search for it in settings it appears to be there but the search result just directs me to phone settings ...

The release notes say it may not be working but it is working for me. iPX, Verizon
why are the bug reports littered with app issues? None of those are iOS 12 bugs, those are apps that need to be updated to fully support the changes in a new revision of the OS. In previous years app bugs were listed in a different thread.

Anyone notice mail doesn’t get pushed down to iPhone unless you go into the mail app.
I use outlook.com for all my mail.
