New Features & Changes
New Issues

• Maps: Traffic data might not be displayed
• Screen Time: The start and stop times for Downtime might change unexpectedly if they were configured prior to installing iOS 12 beta 9

Remaining Issues

• App Store: While signed in with a production account and testing with a sandbox account, attempting to fetch a new valid receipt displays a sign-in prompt for the production account with no option for switching to the sandbox account
• HomeKit: Inviting iOS 11 users who have multiple email addresses associated with their Apple ID to a home might not succeed
• In iOS 12 beta, Camera Effects in Messages is available only on iPhone SE and iPhone 6s
  or later and is unavailable on iPad. Camera Effects in FaceTime is available only on iPhone
  7 or later and is unavailable on iPad
• Wi-Fi calls might end unexpectedly when transitioning from Wi-Fi to cellular while on the T-Mobile network
  
• Screen Time: After updating to iOS 12 beta 7 or later, parents should change the Screen Time passcode to prevent children from signing out of iCloud or changing the system time
• Siri: While multiple ride-sharing apps are installed, Siri might open the app instead of providing an ETA or location when asked
  • Siri Shortcuts might not work if a device is locked
  • Siri Suggestions for Shortcuts are enabled on iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 4
• Wallet: Users might encounter a situation where Apple Pay becomes unavailable

Resolved Issues

• Localization: Certain languages may exhibit clipped or misaligned layout and display unlocalized text

Additional Notes

• Certain apps may not be fully compatible with iOS 12. Contact developer for support. See list of current compatible apps.
• Downgrading to iOS 11.4.1 may reset Notification setting and may cause blank app icons.
• If you experience Setting crashes, it may be due to removal of stock apps.
• Battery apps may no longer work as intended due to removal of Battery API in iOS 12.
• Group FaceTime has been removed from the initial release of iOS 12 and will ship in a future software update later this fall since iOS Beta 7

Out of all of the things that indicate proximity to GM, this isn't up there with the better ones. Look at changing modem firmware and kernel builds. They stagnate as a version of iOS reaches gold.

Yeah, my OTA was 250MB or something. Implies we're still at least a few releases a way. You usually get at least a couple of ~50MB or so OTAs before a build goes gold.

Cool, lockscreen "hide" clock "feature" is still here as well as the notification blinking and zoomed in apps... The clock bug is here since iOS 11.0, the notification and zoom-in problem is since 12.0 beta 1.

- No shortcuts app (expect an app on launch day in app store)
- HSBC worldwide app still crashes
- Sliding over keyboard for non3D touch devices is fixed now

Some bugs that aren't fixed yet, that I hope will be addressed before GM....

• 3-5 second delay when trying to open apps from dock after swiping up while on springboard and not on home screen (if you're on page 2-3, swipe up to go to home, and try opening an app on the dock)
• Engaging CC through reachability sometimes results in stutter / frame rate drop depending on content (try in maps apps, safari, etc)
• Severe stutter / frame rate drop in 3D touch peek animation when engaging on a search result through spotlight search
• No proper rubber band bounce when swiping all the way through to spotlight search / widget

Just updated to Beta 9. Opened up Photos app and it's the first time i ever saw "Restoring" at the bottom. Then went to "Updating".
