Guys, don't worry, I'm not going to ask when iOS 12 is going to be Jailbroken. I know how silly a question that would be :D

But what I will ask is this - can the existing patch for the iOS 11.3.1 FW be used instead for when iOS 12 is released this autumn? If so, I'm thinking why the jailbreakers are going for the iOS jailbreak rather than just wait a little longer and JB 12 instead.

Fair do's. My post was that of a man desperate to upgrade from ios 10 to 11 or 12 and have jailbreak.

I think what happened is they had a 0 day they didn’t want to burn cause they thought they could use it later in iOS 12. Then iOS 12 beta 3 came out and they patched that piece for the 0day so they went ahead and used it to fix the 11.3.1 remount.
