IPad Pro 10.5 connected to Apple Smart Keyboard

When I was on IOS 11.4 I was getting between 9 and 12 hours battery for me that means 3 to 4 days which was great.

Since updating to IOS 12 PB I am now lucky to get 5 to 6 hours I have to charge it every two days.

I am what I class a normal user web browsing, email. Listening to music via Bluetooth a spot of reading and perhaps a few podcasts. I might do a bit of Excel or Word now and then but nothing heavy so I am not a power user.

So any ideas what is draining my battery I like IOS 12 so not going back to 11.4 so I will carry on charging it every two days.

But something has definitely changed and would like to know what it is.

BTW I have reset all the settings and that did not help.

So I will keep hoping with every new update that I can get back where I was with 11.4

Another battery thread...
We have a topic already on the latest beta and it’s bugs.
As mentioned daily on here, betas are battery hogs. It’s a fact of running a BETA

Google “iOS beta debug” and you will see what causes drain

My Pro 10.5 was down to 210 minutes of screen-on time, beta 5. That’s 3.5 hours... Mostly safari browsing. Now back on clean install 11.4.1 for a few days, to catch my breath 🙂
