Is there not a way to reset your recommendations for Apple Music using iOS 12? Maybe I am missing it but I don't see how to do it. I signed up when it first came out but didn't like it. Now I've resigned up and want to reset the recommendations. I know it can be done with iOS 11.

Can‘t be done in iOS 12 and macOS Mojave. I don‘t know why. I‘ve had to downgrade to 11.4.1 to re-do the „Choose Artists for You“ and lost all my health data and achievements from my watch in the process because for some reason iCloud decided not to sync my health data anymore even though that worked flawless ever since it was introduced. After re-doing it I still get the same bad recommendations. Frustrating to say the least...

I may consider Spotify since I have a couple of Google Home's. Apple sent me an email for another trial so I thought I'd try it out and see what has changed. I just prefer having the Siri integration.

If you have a Mac with High Sierra or lower or a Windows PC with iTunes, you can re-do your recommendations there. But you can‘t manually add artists you like in the process, which is why I downgraded to 11.4.1 after first creating virtual machines for HS and Windows and trying it there. This whole „Choose Artists for You“ thing really cost me a lot(!) of time. Hopefully it comes back in the final release, I‘ve already adressed the issue in the Feedback App.
I found the way to do this in ios12. It comes down to deleting the music app from the device and reinstalling from the App Store. This allows for choosing your genres and artists over again. It will take until the following day to reset the daily albums and such.
