SE is newer than the 6S.There's a rumor going around locally that 13.1.3 turns phones older than the 6S into bricks. Kind of a "planned obsolescence" program. Anyone out there with an SE who's updated to 13.1.3?
Is the Bluetooth connectivity Issue only with the watch? Have you tried to use other Bluetooth devices with it and had the problem?iPhone SE with 13.1.3 here; only issue is that the bluetooth connection between phone and Apple Watch is not good... but this might be related to the watchOS 6.0.1.
Otherwise it's running good. BTW: iPhone SE has been released after iPhone 6s, so it's younger...

Certainly reports or issues of different types, as well as reports of no issues or nothing of much consequence. Somewhat more than some major releases, while not much more than some others. Certainly nothing to the level of just bricking devices, and certainly nothing of that sort that is actually widespread.Do some searching around the forums and you'll find a large amount of evidence. Not exclusive to the SE either. Numerous older models that, once upgrading iOS versions, find the battery life to be much worse.
Of course you'll have apologists claiming "well it's an old phone, time to replace it". Funny they only say this after the iOS update already happens, and since Apple doesn't provide an official way to go back, you're stuck.
OP, you can try it out for yourself you don't have to take my word for it. Buy an older model and see how the battery life is, I suspect you'll be grossly disappointed and you'll end up returning the phone. Which is a shame because a company with Apple's financial resources shouldn't have to resort to such petty tactics as making their older phone models worse after "updates", only to have you looking to buy their newest, very expensive hardware.

Extreme battery issues on my SE which was working well until immediately after iOS 13.1.3 upgrade. I have restarted, restored, and turned off virtually every feature; iCloud, Siri, location, cellular data, wifi. No mater what I do it eats battery at 10% to 30% an hour even in standby. Before the update I would get 2 days of light use, 4 days in standby to 20% battery mark. This is not about new features on a phone with the battery well matched to its processors and screen size. Something is seriously wrong. There's a rumor going around locally that 13.1.3 turns phones older than the 6S into bricks. Kind of a "planned obsolescence" program. What does that have to do with widespread bricking that is tied to a malicious conspiracy?Get an older device (SE/6s/7), have apple replace the battery so you know it is 100% new, and see the battery life for yourself.
Ah, yes, Forbes, the publication that seems to play the role of "the boy who cried wolf" using pretty much the same clickbait articles for practically any and every update. For those who still don't believe, there are even news articles on it now:

It is well know Forbes makes the same article for every single iOS release. For those who still don't believe, there are even news articles on it now:
