New Features & Changes

  • Long press on app icon has new "Delete <appname>" option
  • Long press on app icon has "Edit Home Screen" instead of "Rearrange Apps"
  • While in Video recording mode in Camera app, can now tap frame rate and/or resolution in camera app to change inside the app.
  • New Emojis!!
New Issues
  • American Siri, both male and female, doesn’t speak. Temp. solution: switched to British Siri, so far works great.
Remaining Issues
  • Genius screen layout in iTunes Store is broken and doesn't display correctly in dark mode
  • Hey Siri won’t state what day of the week it is
  • Hey Siri won’t state what time it is
  • iTunes Store does snap back to top of screen when tapping the bottom menu bar
  • Reminders doesn’t know what days of the week are weekdays (setup a reminder to only remind M-F and it will remind on S/S too!) - worked fine prior to iOS 13
  • Repeat iMessage/SMS notifications not working
  • Swiping up and down on widgets screen causes Siri App suggestions to display incorrectly and Up Next section to disappear
Resolved Issues
  • Fixed an issue which prevented reading certain TypeA–based electronic IDs on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
  • Fixed an sssue where review of photos taken in landscape could cause image to be cut off on a Max device
  • Apps in Messages will not load if selected from the "More" menu item

Hmm, thanks for the update om Mail. Do you have an iCloud account and Exchange? Ans if yes, does it sync, or does it keep saying "Checking for Mail..." at bottom of inbox?
My Exchange mail seems to sync correctly on 13.1.2 release version, but the iCloud account just hangs. Have to force close Mail, then reopen for it to sync correctly....

Interesting, there seems to be a new animation when closing apps in the app switcher.
