For those on the new SE, do we have haptic feedback interaction on notifications on the lock screen back or is it still “working as intended” for Apple?

I am updating using iTunes on Windows and it's just showing preparing iPhone for software update for more than 20 minutes. Has anyone experienced this? Also where is the .ipsw file downloaded on Windows? It used to be under C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates but since iOS 13.5 it's not in that folder.

Update: after waiting for a long time and trying multiple times, I decided to do OTA update instead of through iTunes and it worked.
Also this iTunes is downloading the .ipsw file in some different folder, will have to check why iTunes is downloading to this folder and is there a way to download to the standard location.

I know it’s still pretty early to tell, but any/all of my battery draining issues seem to have disappeared, check my screenshots. Usually I’d have more background usage listed. Mail is listed as running in the background for 8 hours & 50 minutes, though 🥴 Although, I don’t seem to be having any of the horrible Mail app issues right now. My iCloud Mail older is updating almost as soon as I go to any of the folders.
I’m also not seeing any issues with app/memory management. I’m happy so far (knocks on wood).

In effect, it is working as Apple intended it to work.

Apple didn't intend for this to happen. What they did is they took the iPhone 8 and didn't use 3D Touch and therefore broke the quick reply feature on the lock screen. After they found out, they put that disclaimer on their site so that people wouldn't get upset and think it was intended to be this way.

Then they'll "fix it" by saying they decided to add it in as a bonus feature.

13.5 runs quite well for me and any further updates will ruin the latest jailbreak for people that enjoy the extra customization. If Apple is so concerned about jailbreaking, maybe they should stop lagging behind in features. Apple has become a follower rather than innovator. When was the last big “wow” from Apple? Usually they wait until something has already been done on other devices and then follow suit a year or more later. Not all jailbreak tweaks present security issues and maybe another reason Apple is so against it is because they are being out innovated by some in the jailbreak community.

Facetime still crashing on iphone 7 plus and also snapchat. Front camera is only good for the camera app, all else(snapchat and etc) crash after they made a change to some facetime stuff in ios 13.4.1. I really don’t know what to do anymore. ios 13 has been complete garbage imo.

Had the same problem with mail app that was showing 11hrs of background use when I had not even opened that for days. A reboot seemed to fix it.

Just had the same problem like in the previous version. Answered a message in WhatsApp. Tapped to send, my iPhone froze and 10 seconds later it restarted. But the message was sent. Has anyone else experienced that?

The keyboard auto correct is much worse than before. Bad in English, worse in German.

And an older issue came back. My keyboard or the delete button froze again.

Hi, just noticed this on my iPhone XS when swiping up, never seen this message before; showing up on the bottom of the screen. When I click it, I come to an e-mail in my Inbox on the stock mail app. Not sure how this is useful...

It's not the jailbreaks tweaks that present security issues. It's the jailbreak itself. Jailbreaking removes the protection that code must be signed to run on the device. That's how you can run the tweaks. This makes it more likely that code not signed and not helpful, could be installed and run that causes security issues. Code installed on purpose by the user or without their knowledge.

This is the Handoff feature in action. See how it says “From ‘Mac Mini’”?
