But does it fix any of the other Catalina disasters in iTunes processing or Photos?

So little; so late. I often think that Apple really only has 5 or 10 employees who actually work, so little gets improved in any product over time. Why aren't there bookmarks with News+? I'm reading various magazines and want to bookmark articles for future reading. There is no equivalent to "Save Story". I'm reading half a dozen photography magazines and cannot remember which one had an article on X. For my $10/month, there is no way to bookmark a story (much less a magazine). Another feature that Zinio has had for many years.
You can save magazine articles. Works the same way you save other articles.

Considering there is a significant monthly fee, Apple should be focusing on getting rid of adverts.

Adverts within the articles are the single biggest issue I have with Apple News.

So what? This barely deserves a footnote, let alone an entire article.
I rather have the TV app save my progress, which it often doesn’t do when watching a video.

I use Apple News from time to time. But I never use Apple News+. I'll assume you're taking about the Plus. ;)
He was probably also talking about News not being available in most of the world.

Edit: just went to check if there were any updates to this and nope.
Still the same 4 countries after 4 years.

It's a shame they can't fix a quick way of returning to the main page after reading all the articles & having to continually scroll back to the beginning. At the moment I either scroll or reset & quit app.

All it needs is a software button, let's call it the home button that'd work!;)

Wonder why it's never caught on?

I'd be happy if they just got rid of the Apple News plus subscription articles that I keep clicking by mistake, they are adding more and more of them as time goes on and they are remarkably annoying.

It would also be nice to resume on the article I was reading instead of being thrown back to the top page, but that's more due to iOS' crappy memory management and how apps reset after being backgrounded. It seems kind of dumb to worry about scrolling down an article when you get dumped back to the front page.

Apple News available in 4 countries
Apple Music available in 169 countries

People who live in the USA get more for their money when they buy an iPhone.

Any other app/platform this would be a single line entry in the release notes.
And? It likely will be a single line entry in the release notes, when the OS is released. Apple isn’t bringing you this article, MacRumors is. You’re choosing to read a site known to carry articles about trivial details, and complaining that there’s an article about a trivial detail?

Not updating until they remove the code for contact tracing
Enjoy your new Android phone.
