Nothing changed. I wasted my time updating, and now I'll try this:

Update: and the downgrade failed. That's just perfect. I'll try iTunes now.

It actually fixed a major bug for me and seems to be running much smoother than the previous build.

Hardly surprised.
With that being said, it would not hurt to update if developer beta 3 is already installed.

Coming from DB3. My Nest app would constantly crash on me...was fine with DB1 and DB2. Yesterday's update fixed that and also seemed to improve screen responsiveness to a degree.

Surprising there's even that degree of change for such a minor revision. Good news for you though.

Does anyone encounter the situation where the iPad refuses to launch any application that's not stock?

I'm still having issues with Beta 2 (PB) where when my phone connects to my Bluetooth of my car, my phone goes to DND which my watch does also (normal) but when I disconnect, my phone turns off DND but my watch still stays DND until I physically have to turn it off. Anyone else notice it?

Mail bug still exists. Was ok last evening but this afternoon it reverted back to being slow and not showing all emails. Rebooting doesn’t help

The revised version is one build newer, and probably the only change was for 7/7+. There wasn't a reasonable expectation of different behavior.

It's not. It's the same build number, just re-compiled. There is no reason to expect it to be any different, it's only re-compiled in order to actually work with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as something clearly went wrong with the f-compile, hence why we got a g-compile of the same build.

When it has the exact same build number there is no difference in the actual code being compiled, so there is no reason to expect it to behave differently in-terms of bugs. Only chance for any bugs to be fixed would be because they got introduced due to a compile error and not errors in the actual code which is highly unlikely.

You're right. So even less reason to expect different behavior.

I am curious., do you have Nest cameras, or just the thermostat? I have the Nest app working fine, but have no camera on it. My Vivint App force closes starting with DB2, on DB1 it would only force close if I go to a camera feed. I was able to control my Nest Thermostat with the Vivint App and Nest App. (My cameras are not Nest Cameras.)

Fixed quite a few bugs for me. Only one I can still see is the YouTube one when it freezes every so often. But mail has been fixed which is huge for me

If you’re part of the Beta, you should always update as that is the whole point, to test the OS for bugs and report them back to Apple.

If you’re someone running this on their main device and are struggling to cope with the concept of this day to day, then you will need to adjust expectations or you’ll find out quickly you’re not suited to Beta testing.

I have the same problem with the Vivint app. Lost all ability to use my phone for thermostat and alarm control as the app crashes every time I open it.

Do you have a Nest Thermo or the Element? If you use the Nest Thermo, you can still use the Nest app. ( I have two thermo, one upstairs and one downstairs...So I can only do the upstairs now. I. have another iPhone 7 Plus connected via hotspot to my phone, that I can use the Vivint app on, since it is still on 12.1.2.

No unfortunately everything is Vivint. I can use the iPad but not the phone.

I am on Beta 3 and I can use my Nest app just fine.
I also have the Vivint app and everything works fine except for a live feed from my doorbell camera.
I can view old doorbell clips without issue. The only thing that does not work is the live feed.
This is on an iPhone X.

XS here. Started with Beta 3 I think. App crashes trying to connect. I deleted and reinstalled it. Opens fine until I enter my password. Then crashes

I have both the thermostats and the cameras. The Nest app worked just fine on DB1 and DB2, but when I was on DB3 (pre-update) the app would crash when I was scrolling through my video events, which was annoying since I have 4 cameras and every morning I like to review the captured video events from the previous night. Anyhow, since this update it's fine again.

This also seems much better for me on my iphone 8. Much less laggy. However, my ipad air 2 seems slightly worse. I'm hoping ios 13 doesn't ultimately kill my ipad speed.

That is what my Vivint app did. I suspect its something to do with the videos, and how the phone handles it.
