NOOO! I use this all the time!Apple removed the feature to search from the notification center / widget screen. In iOS 12 I was able to turn on the screen, slide to the right, and slide down to start a search and now that is gone :/
3D Touch is going to keep me holding onto my 8i really wish they weren't getting rid of 3d touch...
I'm not going to dox myself on this forum to prove the point, but based on metrics where I work, I can tell you it's a very used tab. On top of this, auto-updates are known to not work on many devices, just check this thread.Prove that, please. I never, ever got into Updates anymore. I let the OS get them, couldn’t care less. I’d argue that’s more common.
Lastly, it also removes the ability for people to read the description of the update if they have auto-update on (and if in the off-chance it works).

I don't know, I don't use auto-update and never will. The issue is you can't read the descriptions before it updates them.Does the Updated Recently list not show auto updated apps like it shows manually updated apps?

Maybe I understand the change incorrectly, but as I understand it, instead of clicking on the updates icon at the bottom, you’ll click on your profile pic at the top. I’m not seeing why some users are complaining.<snip>
And, finally, count me as number 76,989 that thinks the Arcade vs Update button switch is counter to my needs. If you like Auto Update, great for you. I like Froot Loops and you might like Honey Nut Cheerios… fine, OK. But I don't like it, and I've been bitten one too many times by buggy apps. What Apple –should– do, IMHO, is enable the ability to download previous app versions, and don't let the developer control that. Between bugs and ads, I just don't have the tolerance anymore for not owning what I've bought. And it is 100% clear that Apple made this switch for money; to pump Arcade, in spite of whether the user has interest in their new offering (I don't, sorry, just don't game enough anymore), and to promote Auto Update, which is a bow to the devs.
Disconnect? Or turn off (meaning, disable the radio entirely)? If the latter, how?I can.

Probably the only way to turn it off completely is in Settings.
It sends any call that is not in your contacts direct to voicemail.I want to know more about the feature before I get excited about it. Does it only silence calls that show up on the caller ID as 'Unknown'? If so, that feature has very little benefit to me. Probably only 1 to 2 percent of the junk calls I receive actually show up as 'Unknown' on the caller ID. The rest of the junk calls I receive have spoofed the caller ID so that the area code and exchange is the same as my number but the last four digits are different every time. THOSE are the calls I really want to silence.
They are expanding it to more devices by reducing the hardware complexity needed to implement it on all devices.Frankly, I disagree. Seeing power user features like 3D Touch going away instead of being expanded to more devices and education (Tips app, Apple advertising, etc.) around how to use it makes me think the opposite. They're compromising power user features in favor of simplifying iOS for the dumb masses who don't want to learn new/better ways to use the device they already have.
- FaceTime Attention Correction - In the Settings section of FaceTime, there's a new "FaceTime Attention Correction" option that may be related to the Animoji and Memoji effects camera. The setting says that eye contact with the camera will be more accurate during FaceTime Video calls.

Is this region locked?
I can’t find this Facetime Correction setting to turn it on… I’m in Japan, iPhone XR.
Here is more info on what this actually does:Maybe I'm wrong but I think this feature was left for iOS 13.1
Oh, that's weird then. I thought it was a deactivated feature that was planned for iOS 13.1. If this feature is not on iOS 13.1, then... It will be implemented in the far future? I don't know but this feature was really cool. Here is more info on what this actually does:
Having said that, I can confirm it is not on my iPhone 8 with iOS 13 (noted in the video it is only iPhone XS/XS Max). It also appears to not be on my XS with iOS 13.1. Maybe someone with an XS/XS Max with iOS 13 can confirm?
All good except this one, App Updates.
I won't use Apple Arcade but I will have a dedicated tab anyway.

I agree. Set it to auto update and forget about it.Speak for yourself. I think Apple looked at the numbers, and saw that most users are allowing auto updates (I know I do). They have a new feature to market, a relatively unused icon... there you go!
One group in particular likely prefers manual updates - those who have apps installed from a variety of Apple ID accounts - all those unexpected popup password requests would certainly be a pain.
Also, it's a quick haptic touch away.I originally thought the same; however, I have been using the developer beta all summer and there's good news - the updates are still only a single tap away.
