If it matters I’m on an iPhone 7 Plus.
Every single time I take a screenshot of any thing, whether it be a safari web page, meme, message, home screen, anything, it never once in the past two months saved the screenshot with the cropping I do or any markup features such as highlighting or pencil writings or whatever.
I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve done it all except erase and reinstall the os. Please help!

What software version are you on? This occurred with the first general release of 13.0. For me on my iPhone 11 Pro Max it was fixed in 13.2.2. My iPad Pro is currently on the beta of 13.3 and has also been fixed. If you are on 13.2.2, some have reported they still have the issue, wait until 13.3 is released. That should resolve it for you.

In the meantime after you take a screenshot and edit/crop it, save it to photos or wherever, then take a second one right after and save it without editing it. That will cause the first one to convert to the cropped version you wanted.

That’s good advice. I’ll give it try right now and report back immediately. I’ve downloaded all updates within hours of their release. I’m on 13.2.2 right now.
