Since I updated to iOS 13 a couple of days ago, my iPhone 8 will no longer connect to my Pioneer 4400NEX receiver via Wireless CarPlay while the iPhone is locked.

In iOS 12 there was a “Allow CarPlay while locked” setting in Settings app -> General -> CarPlay -> [CarPlay Device name]. But it seems to have disappeared in iOS 13. Was this intentional?

Can you not just let your iPhone connect wirelessly any more? It’s annoying to have to take my iPhone out of my pocket every time I get into my car.

While not wireless, with I used my 11 Pro Max with my Alpine iLX-W650 the first time, I was asked if I wanted to allow CarPlay while locked and I selected yes. It's worked fine since.

Pretty similar to my 7 Plus with iOS 13 (official and beta).

This has happened to me a couple of times with my wireless Pioneer unit. (and I just had to connect with my Pioneer with my phone again) but mostly it connects as it did before. I'm wondering if there will be a update soon.
