iOS 14.2 Beta 3

Release Date ―
October 13, 2020
Build Number ― 18B5072f
Darwin Kernel Version ― 20.1.0: Wed Oct 7 00:36:43 PDT 2020; root:xnu-7195.40.141~32

iOS 14.2 Beta 3 Release Notes

New Features & Changes
New Issues

  • Siri can't control lights configured in Home. Home app itself works fine. This has just started working for me.
  • Exporting an edited photo corrupts/deletes the IPTC fields. A "revert to original" is needed to get them back. I think this started in beta 2.
Remaining Issues
  • Exposure Notifications has a bug in Availability Alerts. Only works if "Location Based Alerts" and "Significant Locations" are enabled. Unsure why the latter is needed.
  • Calendar widget removes events from display 15 minutes after the start-time even when the duration is longer
  • Alert/ringer volume will change to match media/speaker playback volume after a speaker call if "change with buttons" is enabled. Randomly occurs. Started in iOS 13. Fixed in 14.0 but came back in 14.2 beta 2.
Resolved Issues

thanks, can't get mine to show up. I'll give it some time.
Showing up for me and installing now 🙂

I wonder if this fixes the issue with not being able to tap on results in spotlight and I wonder if WatchOS 7.1 now doesn't crap itself with the Memoji watch faces. 🤔🤔

So this is iOS only and not iPadOS?

Installing now on 11ProMax.
Not showing for the IPP 11.
