Yeah I have the same issue on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee with the 8.4 UConnect 4C. It didn’t happen every time so I’m not sure where the issue actually is.
 
Airplay is messed up on this beta just got stereo homepods and it doesn’t work right at all
 
My iPad 11 reboots every time I swipe down to access the search bar. iPhone ok just 11 inch. Hopefully tomorrow’s beta will solve this

I am having this issue, as well as having FaceID failures when accessing applications where faceID security was configured. I am going to post feedback but want to search for other occurrences and see if anyone provided a feedback ID so that I could include that. (Apple really needs to make it easier to tag onto existing posts)
 
I'm loving the Facemask unlock feature but my watch was 10% around 5PM. I usually have almost 40% around 9PM.
Hopefully that is an anomaly.

Back to ... Widgets!

IPP 11 on beta 2 I am seeing a number of widgets that are not updating on unlock.
Weather, Stocks, News, and 3rd party widgets also.

Once I tap on them they update immediately.
Not seeing this issue on the 12 ProMax.

Items noted for IPP11 and 12PM on my weekend trip ... both on beta 2. These are in addition to the normal items that have been seen for beta 2.

  • Wifi - both devices had difficulty keeping linked to the hotel wifi. Finally gave up and stuck with LTE on 12PM.
  • Maps - Apple Maps in town sent me the wrong way down one ways streets a couple of times. First time in a long time I had that issue.
  • Battery - using YouTube Music on my 12PM while driving I was burning through battery faster than normal - audio only linked through cars Sync3 (BT). 1.5 hour trip used just over 20% battery.

I have good experience overall,on what I use this far.. CarPlay on Pioneer Nex head unit,Face ID is working with out any issues and bt with my OP bud Z no issues
From time to time I connect to my hotspot card and haven’t seen a drop connection yet!
 
I’ve found that swiping to the App Library screen from the Home Screen, then immediately swiping back to the Home Screen and then swiping over to the Widget Screen (left of Home Screen) will almost always result in the widget screen being blank.

Also, something to keep an eye on in the future:

The latest Instagram update seems to have fixed the issue of Instagram previews not appearing correctly within iMessage. However, while I can send Instagram links with the previews showing up, it appears to still be broken for people who aren’t running this beta.

Basically, Instagram links sent from those on 14.5 Beta 2 appear correct to everyone…but links sent from non-beta users are still broken and the image previews don’t appear.

Wondering if Beta 3 will end up breaking this again.

Just reproduced this. I was left with an “old style” widget at the bottom and the rest was blank. 😬

I was able to recreate this as well. Certainly not intended behavior I would think. But also not something I’m going to worry about because I don’t see myself ever performing that sequence is actions “in real life”.

I will dutifully report nonetheless.

A few days into the beta 2, no big issues over all, smoother performance, worse battery life and today I had to take some photos inside. The camera struggled to focus and the first photos I took with the flash on were blurry. Did anyone notice wierd camera performance on the 12pm?
Edit: I also notice a lot of disconnects with my car bluetooth

Going back over the photos I took with my 12PM (Pismo Beach trip) I was noticing a number of my low light shots from a tripod were blurry while others were sharp - using 2.5 lens. Day shots came out great. Did not see this when testing under beta 1.

This is random, but the faded send button in Messages is oddly satisfying…
