What is described here sounds more like "authorized user" than "joint".
That's weird, because two of the strings say "joint"...

"As Joint Owner, you can only invite members of your Family Sharing group"

"You're invited to share a joint Apple Card with [Person]"

To me, sounds like there will be full, "joint" users, and then restricted "child" users... you know, kinda like the way Family Sharing works now ?

Hopefully there is an option for the daily cash to go to the cardholder. Should be the only option actually.

If this does come in a future beta can we get Apple to cover all charges incurred during beta testing? Asking for a friend.

Great, wanted to add my son, he is only 15, and no bank lets him create credit card unless he is 18. This way he can use my apple card :) nice

Still not a full joint user, my wife still wants to be able to maintain her credit rating. Looks like I'm sticking with Amex still.

If spouses already have separate cards, will they be able to switch to a single account and drop one card? That might add to convenience, and simplify paying the bills and using the cash, but how would that affect credit limits and credit history?

iOS 14.5 is shaping up to a substantive update. Hurry up beta testers. :p
I hope they take their time and get it right.

As to the cards, I wish they had a corporate version. Everyone that works at the C level in our company has cards for expenses and online bills they are responsible for managing. It would be so cool to be able to manage them with an app. If someone gets their card skimmed at a gas station, it would be cool to just click a button and they have another number. If they are traveling and get mugged, it would be cool to click a button and turn off that one card.

I might have missed it, but any update on direct download of transactions into banking software?

Does Apple Cash not cover your use case here?
Maybe... I am not sure lol. We don’t have either Apple Card or Apple Cash in Canada. And Apple Cash does not come with a physical card (for the one off merchants that still don’t take tap).
