Poor reception on T Mobile US using carrier 46.0.2. I used to have 3 bars 5G. After update, now only 1 bar LTE. It struggles and keeps switching back and forth but mostly stays on LTE. I used to have full bars with LTE btw. Anyone else experiencing an issue?

iOS 14.7 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Yes it is. It’s available as an App update (without installing this beta!). I’m on the iPadOS RC released Monday.

Camera:
Spent some time messing with the camera (12PM).
Across 14.6.x and now into 14.7, I am seeing no improvements from the camera side.
Mail:
Think it took a step back.
with 14.6 b3 and RC, I was seeing less badge count issues and Mail would frequently, properly update quickly when opened. In 14.7, the badge count is definitely off, back to manual refreshes to get the correct count, and back to having the count say one thing and the account when opened show something different. Makes me wonder when 14.7 was split off from 14.6.
Messages:
Same issues. Missing text bar. When on Magic Keyboard (IPP 11) the messages display as if the on screen keyboard was there (sometimes). Messages sent from one device show as a badge count Unread on the other.
Basically I am not seeing just what improvements we have from 14.7. Besides it being faster than 14.6 RC.

MAIL: could the connectivity etc be related to the downgrade of firmware?!?
14.6 RC firmware 1.71.01 I felt was solid for Mail after having a few update/connectivity issues on my 12.
EDIT: 14.7 B1 firmware 1.70.03. For IP12
Yes modem firmware went back and it's causing connection issues at least for me.
make no sense does it why do that. Well to us anyway. 1.71.01 I felt was lovely and smooth on the RC.
Most likely it was branched before 14.6 B3 or RC. The next update will bring 14.7 on par with whatever additional stuff in 14.7 has.
If I remember correctly, 1.70.03 was the modem with iOS 14.6 b1 and b2. The modem with b3 worked best - for me at least.

Safari definitely, on betas 14.6 and 14.7, is running the back of my 12 hot and the cause of the s**t battery life me thinks. Anywhoooo.
Yeah, this started in 14.5 for me and is still here in 14.6 RC. 😟
A thought however I am doubtful. Unless that downgrade affects across WiFi, 5G, and LTE.
Seeing it for both the 12PM and IPP 11.
Then again I am not an expert in that area.

Hmmm, since not many people are saying it’s fixed, I’m still a bit skeptical that it’s finally fixed.
Finding this beta to be much faster than 14.9rc. Apps seem to open quicker and everything feels smoother. Also for the first time my 5G WiFi reaches upstairs. 11pro
