iOS 14.7 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

On my 11 Pro - seems very fast and smooth - not that I thought prior was slow but this does seem faster.

Surprised also about no iPod on same day.
Maybe too many updates for their servers to handle on 1 day and so wait a day or so for iPod update

Can someone confirm thats is allso works for SE2020 and Apple battery case?
 
Why is the red color in the calendar app pink now?
And the locations are always switching to „Home“ for me in the list

Great. Yeah it has been messed up since may 24th. What an annoying birthday present Apple gave me this year… glad it’s finally fixed. I shall update from 14.5.1 finally!
 
Are iPads able to update to 18G69? I was able to update my iPhone 11, but not my iPad Pro? No profiles installed.

edit: please ignore. just read Banglazed‘s post that iPad software isnt out yet.

Looks like the Music app will now display the Lossless label for an album in your iCloud Music Library even if only some of its songs are lossless. Thus, albums from your personal library that contain uploaded (lossy) songs may now appear as "lossless" .

The previous behavior, consistent with the Music app on MacOS Big Sur, was to display the label only if every single song of the album was actually lossless.

Not a fan of this change, since you can't rely on the label anymore to spot albums that will play in lossless audio quality from beginning to end.

I have a question. I live in Westchester County, and we’ve never had Look Around. But all of a sudden today, when I type in a Westchester address now, it gives me a Look Around button. But when I tap it it says “street imagery can’t be shown at this time”. Could this be a precursor to a rollout in my area?

I mean if you want to really get into this conversation and call someone out. I just posted what I found regarding software/programming. But whatever, its not really important and certainly off topic. 🙂

How’s perforrmance and battery on your 12 Pro Max?
Mine has been pretty solid on 14.6 and I’m not sure I should update.
 
Can anyone try Modifier Keys on iPadOS 14.7 with a hardware keyboard?

I’ve remapped Caps Lock as 🌐 Globe key which doesn’t seem to work anymore in 14.7
 
I don’t want to celebrate too early, but “checking for mail…” seems to no longer take a ridiculous amount of time with Gmail/IMAP.

I’ve only been hoping for this for like two years.
