This update also fixed the battery drain bug that appeared in 14.6.
It is fixed for me.Nothing on the battery drain issues?
What app do you use on Android for podcasts? That app isn't available on iOS? Do you mean listening to podcasts, or recording your own? I've always used Overcast to listen to podcasts.Yes, podcasts have become so un-workable that I have switched to Android, despite years of loyalty to all the Apple OS platforms. The entire iOS system arose due to audio. I would rather use my iDevices exclusively.
I am not sure yet, but at least my Xs Max is not running hot all the time liked it did with 14.6.It is fixed for me.
Uhhuh, yeah, right. You never tried any third party podcast app?Yes, podcasts have become so un-workable that I have switched to Android, despite years of loyalty to all the Apple OS platforms. The entire iOS system arose due to audio. I would rather use my iDevices exclusively.
So instead of maybe trying one of the many excellent third party podcast apps on iOS while Apple works in Podcasts, you switched platforms entirely?Yes, podcasts have become so un-workable that I have switched to Android, despite years of loyalty to all the Apple OS platforms. I guess is a very good advice for all of us, because there is a bug that doesn’t let unlock your iPhone using Apple Watch and viceversa 🙄On 13.7, but I feel like I should wait on 14.7.1.
it works!!!!!!!!!!!! this bug pissed me off so much, i made an account just to let you know it was fixedI'm hoping this fixes the Apple Music bug of music stopping after 15 seconds. They say it did, and I haven't had many issues with it lately, but it was incredibly annoying. I also don't want to go to Spotify so hopefully it is fixed and I'm happy with it in the next couple of weeks.
It might...MIGHT be fixed for me also. I'll see how it progresses throughout the next few days.It is fixed for me.

On 14.6, taking the 14 mi. round trip every 2 days to my uncles to check on his house while he's in the hospital, the battery would go down to 85, 80% by the time I got home about one hour later. (Even small trips up the street to the stores, big drain)
I updated around 2am this morning.
Today's 14 mile trip, battery only dropped to 98%.
Fingers crossed.

How’s your uncle doing these days?It might...MIGHT be fixed for me also. I'll see how it progresses throughout the next few days.

He's doing a little better, thanks for asking. How’s your uncle doing these days?
My Battery health is in the toilet, now at 84%! So that and 14.6 probably wasn't helping daily battery life.I also hope 14.7 fixes this issue. Today is the first day but I went to work, had many audio WhatsApp and FaceTime calls, and back home with 47% battery left on an iPhone XS Max. Battery Health on 93%.
I’m still not sure though, have to use it couple of days to see the usage.
It’s been reported/mentioned several times on this site and forums…iPadOS 14.7 hasn’t been released yet.Going on day 2 now with no update indication for two iPads in the house. Both are stuck on 14.6. Two iPhones both updated to 14.7 with no problems. But the iPad still says there's no update. AppleTV got the update too.
Are people still having problems with updating their iPads?
The AQI in my area was over 150 (!) this morning due to the smoke from all the forest fires out west. The smoke was visible until we got some evening rain showers.Air Quality! Good! Let people know what we breath!
Didn't see that. All I saw was this thread with other people saying they weren't getting it either...but then no one saying what you said. But of course, I probably missed it all. Thanks. It’s been reported/mentioned several times on this site and forums…iPadOS 14.7 hasn’t been released yet.
I hope the bug with excessive FindMy usage (30% of battery or more) for AirTags owners is fixed.
Not just music. The clusterfudge they’ve turned podcasts into can “forget” it was playing less than a minute before and ‘Siri play’ will find a random song to irritate me. Been like that since 13 but worse on every new version. Also changing the view I choose every time to that ******** “discovery” view. If I hadn’t used Apple podcasts for the last twenty years with all my devices I would definitely go somewhere else.I don’t care about any new anything, my connectivity has been terrible with 14.6, I hope this is FIXED.
ALSO, w/iOS 14.6, Apple Music has been playing the first track in my library when I hook up in the car ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME. Why Apple can’t do simple things like EVERY OTHER MUSIC APP and remember where I was at, what I was playing is far far beyond ridiculous 6 years in!!![]()
Typical trolling about using Apple for ever then changing to android. Blah blah blah…So instead of maybe trying one of the many excellent third party podcast apps on iOS while Apple works in Podcasts, you switched platforms entirely?

Consider yourself lucky. Mine do now that I’ve switched to iCatcher.Funny how my podcasts always start up exactly where I left off.
