FWIW: Mine says "iOS 14 Developer Beta" as its title. Sounds like some (even on the Developer program) are getting "Public Beta 2")

The release notes have added issues rather than reducing them.
It seems none of the issues being discussed in this forum for beta 1 have been addressed in this beta 2.

Siri has gone back to the old UI on tvOS 14 beta 2, so thats interesting. Will have to see iOS and iPadOS, if they’ve changed the UI there too.

Perhaps the most agonizing thing the last few years is how long "Preparing update" needs to run on each install...

Preparing update is unpacking the update, snapshotting the current system, merging the update with the current system, then verifying the ENTIRE OS image to make sure it's not corrupted before proceeding. That's why it takes so long.

There are hundred of millions of devices out there. If the update fails on even 0.01% of them it'd be a support nightmare for Apple. That's why the update process is so thorough and takes so long.

Oh I get it. Checksums and all. But it sure seems to take longer since, say, iOS 12 than it did in the past.
