Hi,

I recently installed the Developer iOS14 beta on my iPhone 11 Pro and am noticing that the mail app instantly crashes on launch. This is the default mail app that comes with iOS. I have hard reset the phone a few times to no avail and also submitted a ticket through the Apple Feedback system.

Is this happening to anyone else? Any workarounds? I guess I could use a different email client....

Thanks!

Try disabling each of your email accounts and then launching. If it works, add one email account at a time.

Just tried that and to no avail, unfortunately. Even with all accounts disabled the Mail app crashes on launch.

@Aboo Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

just tried that and now can’t install the mail app through the App Store. It just has the open icon and attempts to launch but crashes upon launch.

Maybe something became corrupted during the iOS 14 install. My only suggestion would be to downgrade to iOS 13 and then upgrade again to iOS 14.

Yup doing that right now. Restored as new to 13.5.1 I believe and then restored my backup and now installing the beta again.
