I would love the mail app to handle multiple accounts nicely but with iOS 14 beta 1 things still seem the same. I guess mail isn't getting any love the year either.

I have the following accounts:
-Personal
-Spam
-Online services
-Financial

What is your setup like? How do you simplify your email setup and still have it functional?

Mail filters would also be really nice.

I use the native mail app only for work and outlook for my other (gmail, yahoo, etc).

I have:
  • 1 iCloud account
  • 2 gmail accounts
  • 2 outlook accounts
  • 1 personal IMAP server account
Using stock Mail app. Everything is totally functional on iOS 13. Haven't moved to iOS 14 yet because there's at least one app that many folks are reporting issues with that I'd prefer to have more stable before making the switch.

If I'm just browsing my mail to see 'what's up', I see my list of inboxes, tap on each one manage the unreads, repeat. I could do the unified Unread view, but I prefer to have specific context and therefore generally just tap into each inbox as necessary.

Works fine for me!

Mail has been bugging me for part of 12, all of 13, and now into 14. I have been seeing some posts where it has improved with 14. Sadly I wasn't seeing it. So I did a little experiment. Yeah! Maybe... Make of it what you will. The results have shown significant inconsistency in the Mail app for me.
