iOS 14 root access?

Using root access (at least access to /System/) apparently it's possible to plist tweak your way to enable a mute switch in the control center. Here's an example of such a guide for iOS 11: https://www.iphonefirmware.com/how-...-ios-11-control-center-no-jailbreak-required/

Is there any way of doing this for iOS 14? And better yet, via a computer preferrably?

Can I "hack" the mute switch playlist on to my iOS 14 phone some other way? No jailbreak for the A14 processors from what I know.
