I think that is up to the location where you live. From what I have read, some states are adopting this sooner than other states are.

It was annoying back when the camera roll had a bug that wouldn't allow it to roll past 9999 photos. It would take pictures and video, let you save them... but the .xml file that Photos reads to identify each picture would not update. So you had to connect your phone to your PC and manually copy them off.
I'm gonna hold off on this one until i the new phone set up. This way I don't have to worry about not being in the same version. Once I'm set up then I'll update. One thing I learned about upgrading to the X was there was no beta profile for a few days so I had to set up as new. It was a pain.
You are correct- only a few states have been announced to participate in this feature- but the ability to add an ID to your wallet will be enabled in iOS. However, only states that are setup to participate will be able to verify the ID you have added to the Wallet app (similar to how banks verify payment cards). At least that's how I understand it all to work.
I just feel the sooner the feature is enabled in iOS, the sooner it will be a reality.
The Home Screen Layout setting is gone in iPad IOS 15!!! Major step backwards. Left with a horrible home screen that crowds large icons in the middle of home screen with wasted screen space to the left and right of home screen layout. Would not suggest for anyone to upgrade to IOS 15. Rolling back to IOS 14.8.
Yep, in many states it’s a matter of changing state law to allow digital ID’s. Mine included. All the states haven’t even been able to finalize Real ID after years of trying.

I’m wondering if they ‘tweaked’ Safari back to be like 15 beta 5 in this new beta. I mean, how many times will people lash out? It’s Apple. Apple should make Craig make some more juicy videos to convince people on Safari redesign. People should lap it up sooner than later.
I'm already on 15 on my current phone ... I don't want to have to go thru the setup process on the new, update to 15.1 beta, wipe it and then install again from a backup. Always fall for that lol
Yay! They squashed the bug I was having with the App Store!
This morning, I couldn't add a WiFi network to my "trusted" list in NordVPN. Now with 15.1, I can. I presume it's from the update.
Oh. I only have iPadOS 15 on my iPad Pro. My iPhone is still on 14.7.1 and I'll skip updating until Friday. Don't want to waste my time with that right now x)
Certainly hope this fixes (15.1) the issues with Apple HomeKit and location. Plauged with nothing but problems since updating everything to 15
That's pretty amazing. Mine traces its roots to my first iPhone (4) back in 2010 and I've never had issues.
Apple's ability to keep a continues backup/restore process working across that many years and devices is pretty impressive. I doubt anyone has similar history across their Android phones.
