• iCloud+ subscribers can now access and use Hide My Email directly from the Mail app
• Legacy Contacts has been added to iOS & iPadOS 15.2 beta 2, allowing users to designate people as legacy contacts for their accounts, as part of the Digital Legacy program
• Added Communication Safety feature for kids in the Messages app
• Macro toggle in Camera app when moving it close to an object
• CarPlay now showing more detail (3D buildings showing at more zoom levels) and revised zoom transitions

The joke is on the public, myself included now. If we would not buy these devices unless AT LEAST the out-of-box software was perfectly in sync with the hardware being sold, they would start to ensure that things are in sync the next time round. They wouldn't release half-baked stuff if it hurt their bottom(lines).

Nothing about it in the Monterey 12.1 beta 2 release notes. (Note that this is a Mac-based feature, so even if iOS/iPadOS had functional support, it wouldn't make any practical difference until they flip the switch in Monterey itself.)
