iOS 15.7 broke find my

Since I upgraded my 6s to iOS 15.7, I can't use find my to ping my iPhone. I used the homepod to locate my iPhone, I only get the notification on my iPhone that 'Siri responded to a personal request for Find My', however the iPhone itself will not ping which defeat the purpose of trying to locate the iphone. Is there anything else I can check or do at this point to get this fix? It was working fine. As someone who use find my several times a day to locate my iPhone in the house, it's annoying.

On your phone, have you tried toggling Find My off and back on?

Nevermind, finally able to get it working by sign out and sign back in.
