I don’t know. I don’t have your problem so can’t confirm. You just have to try these things out I’m afraid. I just did a bit of light reading for you on apple forums on the subject of system data and quite a few people reported after a restore there’s went down. So I suggested this to you.

Apple Watch was sending input text to iPhone at least 8 times in some phone wake ups, a restart of the Watch fixed it.
iPhone wasn’t able to unlock with Watch then, turning the feature off and on solved it.
- still in this beta, sometimes Apple Watch player does not open automatically when playing music (Apple Music)

Hi if the webpage you are on has reader mode available you can just 3D Touch the three … dots in the little circle on the bottom pop up bar to switch in and out of reader mode.

Not using iCloud, have background app refresh turned off, under battery usage still have apps operating in the background. 🤦‍♂️

I noticed this on both my iphone 12 pro and my ipad air 2, both running the latest beta. The ipad showed this on beta 1 as well.

Yes, looks like Apple released a v2 of beta 2. I would update to stay current.

Well, the Safari interface is a hot mess, to be sure... but it would appear that you're given to some degree of hyperbole... there are many worse things "known to man"... but thanks for playing. 🙂😎

Ran into a new one this morning - Airdrop.
12PM and IPP11
Went to drop a photo from my 12PM to my IPP11. Both are on 15 beta 2.
Instead of seeing just my iPad, I saw my iPad as a device and as a contact.
Any idea what caused this?
A hard reboot fixed the issue.

Dropped the Weather widget on page three of my 12 ProMax.
Since then, when I tap on the widget the app launches and I frequently get this:

If that is what you were doing, sounds like the "Auto Lock" feature engaged thinking that you were not "Active." It is not terribly uncommon, all computer based systems have a hard time determinging activity via video playback. Most of the time, they look for either touch input or mouse/keyboard input to know that the user is active.

With that said, if this is an issue, you can always increase the lockout timer from whatever it is now(Usually 2 minutes by default.). Just remember to manually lock the ipad when not using to help preserve battery life.

I don’t think that’s the issue. Cuz it was going black for a second and then resolving on its own without any input. I think it might be something with the AirPlay, as I was streaming to a TV.

Okay, there is a good possibility of that. Have you noticed it doing the same thing when looking at the ipad locally, or only over airplay? I would also try restarting your TV or device. Newer Smart TVs don't actually restart when you turn them off, so make sure that you actually restart it. My TV has an option within the settings to restart the TV.
