Can't really show a good "portrait mode" of a face when viewing it in portrait orientation.

Yeah, I know, but still seems ironic and makes me think they could have called it “blurred background” or bokeh mode. As I said, it makes me think I must have a little OCD because it is very much a non-issue, but seeing something named “portrait mode” best used in landscape seems twisted. I’ve been stuck inside too long and I’m just feeling like Bizarro, I think. Portrait Mode it is!

Any ideas how to FaceTime an iPhone from an iPad which are both registered under the same Apple-ID?
Since iOS/iPadOS 15 FaceTime automatically instantly removes the recipient if it detects the same Apple-ID as the caller.
Is it so unusual to have someones iPad at home and wanting to use it for calling their on-the-road-iPhone?
Selecting the phone number is possible for a second but then it‘s associated with the corresponding Apple-ID and removed from the outgoing call. FaceTime is then pending and „waiting for additional persons“.
Thanks
