I have absolutely no idea what happened or even if it's a bug, but for some reason the last few days I haven't been receiving any of the usual notifications on my phone running iOS 15.1. I've gone into the 'notifications' setting and all the apps have ALLOW NOTIFICATION turned on and all 3 have been selected. I've gone into 'focus' and DO NOT DISTURB is switch off.
I'm receiving WhatsApp notifications on the lock screen now but that didn't work either but I found a fix for that which involved having to download another app so I could then delete WhatsApp and install it again to receive notifications again.
Apps like Sky News, Reddit and a few other apps, I no longer receive anything unless I actually open the specific app like Reddit to see the notifications.
If this is a new setting by Apple to stop folks picking up their devices all the time I welcome that as an option, but allow the user to determine what notifications they would like to see without interruptions, if that is what it is of course.
Is there way to fix this and get my usual notifications appearing again on the lock screen?
