Simple question. Install or not? What do you do?

I did install it but found all my incoming call went straight to voicemail. Went back to iOS 14 but problem persisted. Had to contact cellular provide who managed to fix it. Not sure it was iOS 15 or not that coursed the problem?Tempted to try again but…

There’s not really a right answer. If you can and are willing to deal with possible bugs, go for it. I’ve never had any really bad bugs with Apple betas, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

For now, I’ve just left my MacBook Air and watches off the beta program. Computer is important for grad school and watchOS betas can’t roll backwards.

You just have to make the call yourself. No two phones operate identically because of different use cases and whatnot.

Install it, seems to be running fine for most people on here, make sure you have a backup first.

That's the thing with Betas is you can never tell what state they are in. This build may be fine but the next build may completely cripple everything, This is why its NEVER recommended to install betas on primary devices especially your primary phone.

Well I did reinstall iOS 15 and had the same problem with incoming calls going straight to voicemail. However, it fixed itself overnight? V strange. So far so good. Apart from a banking app that won’t open all seems to be working fine.

Short answer, yeah..go ahead and install; its quite stable really. Most of the apps that i have just works fine.
What's really disappointing is there is not much new between 14 and 15.
iPad OS has few more fancy tricks but nothing that is missed out in 14.x version.

usually, in my excitement, by the time 3rd PB comes, i install it on all my devices. This time around, I've just put on the iPad Mini ..

Of-course, installing beta...always keep backup in hand. just in case anything goes wrong you have your data securely backed up and you can restore for it.

I decided to revert to iOS 14.7 last night. There weren’t any major bugs that I saw, but my battery seemed to be depleted a good bit faster. It’s already not amazing on my iPhone 12 Pro. I might install the beta again later on next month.

Well, honestly, it seems that my battery depletes about the same speed on 14.7 as it was on iOS 15 public beta 4. If there’s a difference, it’s small. It’s hard to say.

I was worried that I’d lose my workout data from reverting back to 14.7 with my encrypted backup, but I didn’t lose anything. That makes me a little less worried to try the Beta again later on.

I went from iOS 14 to 15 and back to 14 and now back and sticking with 15. Apart from it not unlocking my Apple Watch and a banking app not opening its pretty stable.
