Not noticed any slowdowns on the RC…yet. Seems smooth and a little faster, at least in my mind. Probably only in my mind too. 🤣 Looking forward to that Zol video btw lol

MSOffice apps no longer working for me, M1 iPad 11

Not sure if this helps but the word app works on my phone. I did not have it installed prior, so maybe redownload it? I can check my ipad later in the day but will need to charge it up and update it to the RC build first.

Is it normal to need the newest iOS to run the newest watchOS version? Wanting to try the watchOS 8 RC but not ready to jump to iOS 15 just yet.

Yes, absolutely, 100%. You must have iOS 15 to use watchOS 8.

Just installed it first time on iOS 15 and what a let down the whole thing feels like iOS 14 really nothing nice changed and safari at the bottom is nice but when you scroll you loose the whole bottom more than when it was at the top

I’ve been sitting here waiting for the installer on both my iPhone and iPad move for 90 minutes. Both have been stuck at barely 1/6th of the way and says “about 3 hours remaining.” 😳

Ah, just like the new iPhones... I haven't been this underwhelmed in a long time. The new & slightly taller notch looks ugly, like a cheap android phone from 2017. The only saving grace is the 120hz display panel on the Pro models.

Apple uses a CDN to distribute updates. CDNs use both DNS and anycast to try to get you to talk to the server closest and with the best network path to you, but sometimes these mechanisms fail and you end up talking to a slower server that's far away.

The "Music" under Settings is not accessible. The phone just freeze with iOS15 RC.
Can anyone else check if this is just on my iPhone 12?
