I used to be able to mirror my iPhone screen during phone calls (both with QuickTime and Reflector), but that no longer seems to work with iOS 15!

The iPhone screen becomes blurred out the second a phone call is initiated.

I suspect this is part of some new privacy feature that came with iOS 15.

Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, have you figured out a workaround?

Yes I am also experiencing this. The incoming or outgoing call screen has been blurred out when screen mirroring.

I haven’t found a way to turn this “feature” off. Anyone have any ideas?

I haven’t found a direct workaround for this, and I’m not holding my breath on whether we’ll get any options for this from Apple in the near term.

And so for now, my indirect workaround is to literally use an alternative dialer app. I’ve been using TextNow.com for now.
