No more roller coaster 911 calls? LOL

What improved compatibility with carriers? Why do they need to be so cryptic? Is it fun for them to be cryptic and low-information in their release notes? Was it US carriers? 5G? LTE? Chinese carriers?

UPS. Helps with battery life and deliveries.

Still does not fix stuttering in game. Figures as much because this is a small update. Waiting for the next beta.

WTF after update I had to set up Siri I use from time to time and mostly on Apple Watch?

Edit:
Is this “Type to Siri” something new?

EDIT:
All Siri settings were erased and set to default and even turned on Hey Siri which I have disabled for ages.
Really what happened? :D

YouTube is crashing for me while playing a video for less than a minute after the update to 16.1.2. iPhone 14 pro.

Just noticed this toggle. I keep background app refresh all the way off. Isn’t this kind of the same thing just in a different toggle? Can someone explain what this actually does?

Say that you install a game from the App Store, and when you launch it, it downloads another update/game data before you can play.

This toggle allows apps to do that in the background after the first install (ie, not an ongoing refresh) so it's ready to use when you open it without having to wait .

Stutter seems to be gone as well for me on 14 PM, feeling the entire system more responsive and fast, could be placebo? Maybe. Also my FaceID is working MUCH better then 16.1.1

This is the current kernel for iOS 16.1.2

My iPhone 13 mini finally started to hold battery relatively good (still way sh*ttier than iOS15), and then I updated to 6.1.2. Woke up this morning and my phone was completely drained from about 80% when I went to bed. As the last time it happened, looking at Battery stats, Mail had used 100% all through the night until completely drained. Wtf, Apple?! This is embarrasing!!! And super annoying!!!

Just installed this on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Took a very long time then popped up a screen I have never seen before. Grey and says attempting recovery. My phone is currently not working. I have not had good luck with iOS 16. Not sure what the problem is now.
