The stutter isn't gone. You've restarted your phone so its temporarily gone away. It will return.

They still have not fixed those buttons. When you listen to music and your album cover is in full screen on the Lockscreen, those two buttons do not work on push notifications.

Apple still haven't published the security vulnerability (or vulnerabilities) fixed in 16.1.2 (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201222 "details available soon"). They usually publish the security details in a few hours. I wonder why they are waiting. Maybe the vulnerabilities are so bad that they are waiting for most users to update before they publish the details. Or maybe they are still working on fixing the same vulnerabilities in other OSes (macOS, iOS 15)?

Weird new bug. I randomly lost service and when it returned, it suddenly seems to try to connect to my Mexican SIM card even though it is deactivated and has been for months yet the 2nd bar in the corner just appeared out of nowhere, indicating I have two sim activate (I don’t)

It’s interesting that it’s been over a week now, and Apple still hasn’t released any information as to the Security Updates that shipped with iOS 16.1.2. I have a feeling a huge whopper of a security hole was either fixed, or in the process of being determined if the attempted fix worked. I can’t recall another security update where Apple did not provide the associated release notes on the same day that the new version of iOS shipped.

Does anyone have info on what the security update entails?

That’s weird

im still too scared to update my 14PM from 16.1

its humming along fine, all things considered
As most of the others have stated 16.1.2 is still silky smooth on my iphone. The ipad smearing issue when scrolling is fixed in the 16.2 RC. All good so far for both devices.

It seems like every time (at least once per day) I change my focus, I get this tool tip on the Home Screen. You would think it only appeared once right? Like I KNOW

Hello Everyone
Quick question here not much of a problem but out of curiosity posting…
In our house we always have WiFi calling option on and it works flawlessly till now since the signal is relatively weak ( one bar only )
Yesterday while tapping the phone’s screen , it was the name of the carrier left screen corner and not the WiFi calling indicator. After toggling on off it appeared again.

Question : why sometimes WiFi calling disappears and reappears? It’s signal strength related or should be always on depending on WiFi router availability? Never seen dropping in 4 iPhones before inside the same apartment

Thank you in advance
