iOS 16.1 Beta Makes Dynamic Island Easier to Access With Reachability Support

Anyone noticed a bug? If you have folders of icons, you can't swipe to the second page of those folders any more. iOS 16.1 beta, on iPhone 11 Pro Max.

size can be a good thing (ask your GF)

i think the biggest issue with DI is it's forced location that's simply far from optimal (guess why they per default put the URL field on Safari on the bottom of your phone)
- sure, it's there "to make the Island a bit more useful" in the first place, but the location is simply not the most ergonomic one

i haven't held an iPhone 14 in person yet, but judging from the footage i've seen, i think the Island is actually more distracting / "obviously there" than the notch, even when it does nothing
 
This would be 100% more athsteically pleasing if the top of the pled went completely black when you slide the screen down, completely hiding the original location of the island completely. 🤷🏻‍♂️
